International Women’s Day Celebrated at Rajamudy by Navajyothi Charitable Society

Navajyothi Charitable Society organized a meaningful and vibrant International Women’s Day celebration at Rajamudy, bringing together women from 13 Self-Help Groups in a spirit of unity, empowerment, and social progress. The program was inaugurated by Vicar Provincial Sr. Jessy S.H., whose inspiring words highlighted the importance of women’s role in building strong families and communities. The function was presided over by Rev. Sr. Treesa Mary, who emphasized the need for continuous support and opportunities for women’s growth and leadership. The event was graced by Vathikudy Grama Panchayat Member Darley Dixon and renowned Commerce teacher Nisha Rajesh, who shared valuable insights on women’s empowerment, education, and entrepreneurship. A key highlight of the program was the felicitation of women entrepreneurs from various Self-Help Groups, recognizing their dedication, hard work, and contribution to local economic development.
